Evangelist Lorraine Phiri
Evangelist Lorraine Phiri was born on 18 April 1974 in Johannesburg but was raised in Mpumalanga, South Africa. She is a devoted wife and a mother of three. She embraced Christianity at the age of 14, though she initially backslid. In 2005, Lorraine rededicated her life to Christ and has since been passionately serving the Lord, with a particular focus on ministering to rejected youths and women. Under the leadership of Dr Prophetess Louwrane Koen, the Founder and Overseer of Koinonia House of Fire (KHOF), Lorraine currently ministers as an Evangelist. She is a graduate of Middelburg High School and holds diplomas in Office Computing from Damelin College, Office Administration from Esselen Park of Excellence, and Biblical Counselling, Leadership, and Bible Study from the former Koinonia Bible School of Truth and Light. Lorraine’s diverse career spans roles such as a Bank Custodian, Airline Customer Service Agent, Author, Youth Leader, Mentor, Life Coach, Prayer Warrior, Intercessor, Speaker, Spiritual Counsellor, School Governor, Financial Advisor, and a Bible School Educator. She has successfully organised numerous events at KHOF, including the Youth Worship Conference, Family Workshop, Father & Child Dance Gala, Career Guidance Workshop, Inside-Out Prophetic Beauty Conference, Youth Praise Festival, and Arts & Business Exhibition. Additionally, she leads the KHOF Prophetic Dance Project, training the youth to become prophetic dance ministers and bring blessings through true worship. After resigning from her airline position in 2013, Lorraine’s faith journey led her to volunteer in her church and her children’s school. In 2021, she was elected to the School Governing Body of Sir Pierre van Ryneveld High School in Kempton Park, serving on various committees and as Chairperson in 2024. She continues to serve as a member of the Executive and Finance Committees. Lorraine’s multilingual abilities and broad skill set – encompassing event planning, leadership, client relations, sales and marketing, project management, and advisory – reflect her deep engagement with diverse cultures and organisations. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, and watching inspirational films.
