Prophetess Dr. Louwrane Koen Founder and Overseer, Koinonia House of Fire Ministries Dr. Prophetess Louwrane Koen is a visionary leader with a deep-seated passion for Africa and its people. Born on 17 July 1961 in Rhodesia, her divine calling to ministry was evident from a young age, preaching to her African friends on her father’s farm. Over the years, this calling has taken her across numerous African countries, where she has spread the Word of God and shared her faith. In 2000, Dr. Koen founded Koinonia House of Fire Ministries (KHOF) in Benoni, South Africa, beginning with just five members. Under her prophetic leadership, KHOF has grown into a dynamic ministry specialising in deliverance and operating in the full five-fold ministry. Today, KHOF is renowned for its commitment to soul-winning, having baptized over 2000 individuals in a single Sunday in 2013 and maintaining a membership database exceeding 4000 people. Dr. Koen’s educational background includes a PhD in Theology from Team Impact Christian University, USA (2023), and an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity (Ministry) awarded in 2014. Before dedicating her life entirely to ministry, she worked as a Financial Manager at Spoornet and later as a District Manager at AVBOB. A significant recognition of her unwavering faith and dedication came when Dr. Koen received an honorary award from the Glory Times 100 committee, affiliated with the Myles Munroe Foundation and recognized by the American president. This prestigious award acknowledges her embodiment of Christian values and her relentless service to God’s Kingdom. Her personal life is marked by a strong family foundation. She has been married to Gerrit Anton Koen since 1982, and together they have two children and three grandchildren. Beyond her achievements in ministry, Dr. Koen remains steadfast in her mission to bring spiritual transformation across Africa, continually expanding her ministry’s impact and reach.
