About Welfare Committee
At the core of the Welfare Committee is the call to care, comfort, and support in the spirit of Christ. This ministry exists to serve both the KHOF family and the wider community, walking alongside people in their moments of need and ensuring that no one is left to face life’s challenges alone.
The Welfare Committee reflects the heart of Jesus, who came to heal the brokenhearted and bind up wounds (Isaiah 61:1). Whether it is offering comfort in times of bereavement, companionship to the elderly, or practical assistance to families in hardship, this ministry demonstrates that the love of Christ is both present and active. It is not only about provision, but also about presence—the ministry of simply being there, bearing one another’s burdens as the body of Christ (Galatians 6:2).
Beyond addressing immediate needs, the Welfare Committee seeks to restore dignity, hope, and strength to those in difficult seasons. By extending compassion and practical support, this ministry embodies KHOF’s mission to care for the whole person—spirit, soul, and body—and to reveal that Christ’s love is a constant source of comfort and restoration.
